President Ahmadinejad to leave for Islamabad tomorrow


Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will leave the country for Pakistan, where he is to attend a meeting of developing Islamic countries D8.

According to FNA, Director General of President’s International Affairs Office, Mohammad Reza Forghani said this on Tuesday, adding that meeting and conferring with presidents of Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Malaysia, Egypt, and Turkey is among the schedule of President Ahmadinejad in Islamabad.
Forghani added that there would be also a trilateral meeting between Iranian, Turkish, and Egyptian presidents regarding the developments in Syria.
D8 is comprised of eight developing Islamic countries of Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, and Nigeria.
