‘Turkey had better not to create foothold for foreigners’

Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Speaker’s Advisor on International Issues, Hossein Sheikholeslam, cautioned turkey about presence of foreign forces in the region.

According to IRIB, he took note of the deployment of NATO’s patriot missiles at the Syria-Turkey border under the pretext of what referred to as probable attack of Damascus on Ankara and said today that foreign forces’ intervention in Syria would surely be to the detriment of the nations in the region.
Sheikholeslam said that supporters of the terrorists in Syria have spared no efforts to create panic and an atmosphere of insecurity by stirring of violence and bloodshed in a bid to materialize their vested objectives through Turkey.
The senior advisor to Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani added that NATO sought its eastward move plan and the deployment of patriot missiles which was welcomed by Ankara is in line with the same ploy.
Hossein Sheikholeslam said we have many times ensured Turkish officials that the government of Bashar Assad has equipped itself with military ammunition only to fend off the assaults by the usurper and greedy Zionist regime in Tel Aviv and will not use them against Ankara.
