Haneyya: Great efforts being made to extract prisoners’ freedom

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that his Movement is making great efforts to preserve the dignity of prisoners in Israeli jails and extract their freedom.

Haneyya made his first remarks as the new chief of Hamas’s political bureau during his visit on Monday to the prisoner solidarity tent in as-Saraya Square in Gaza City.

“Our heroic prisoners, your cause was and will remain a top priority for the leadership of Hamas,” he stated.

“Despite all attempts by the occupation to break your will and discourage you from being united, you will realize your goals and aspirations for dignity and freedom,” the Hamas leader said.
