Syrian Army units killed members of an armed terrorist group in an operation carried out on Saturday night and on Sunday at dawn against terrorists’ hideouts in villages and towns in Aleppo countryside, as they also confronted infiltration attempts by terrorists into safe areas in the Old City.
A military source told SANA reporter that army units destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and dens in the area surrounding the Central Prison, al-Kindi Hospital and the villages of Babiss, Mayer, Hreitan, kafin, Hayyan, Maarasti and Azzan, while other units killed many terrorists and injured others in al- Layrqamoun, al-Maasaraniyeh and the Youth housing to the north of al-Nayrab area.
The source added that terrorists were killed in swift operations against their dens in al-Sheikh Najjar Industrial City, on the axis of al-Castello Einjara, al- Mansoura, Sayyara and north of al-NAyrab and to the south of Andan, in addition to destroying weapons and ammunition loaded in three cars to the south of al- Mislmiyeh and three vehicles in Kafar Naha.
The source pointed out that other army units killed terrorists’ gatherings and destroyed their weapons in al-Barqoum and Deir Hafer.
In the city of Aleppo, an army unit foiled an infiltration attempt of an armed terrorist group into Carlton Hotel in the Old City, killing many and injuring others.
Three terrorists were killed and others were injured during a clash with an army unit near the Triangle Park in Salah -Eddin area in the City.
Units of the army ambushed an armed terrorist group near Kafra village in the northern countryside of Hama.
A military source told SANA that the ambush led to killing all members of the terrorist group, including Nigerian Ali al-Abbas.
