Iran, Turkey officials study parliamentary cooperation

Iran’s Ambassador to Turkey, Ali Reza Bigdeli, and the Secretary General of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Irfan Neziroglu, have studied avenues to broaden and foster mutual parliamentary cooperation.

According to IRIB World Service, citing IRNA, the Iranian envoy to Ankara, throughout this meeting on Monday noted that expansion of relations and enhancement of exchange of experiences between the two countries’ parliaments is of importance.

The Iranian envoy to Turkey referred to the importance of convergence of Iran and Turkey as two important regional countries, and emphasized the development of cultural relations between the two nations.

Meanwhile, the Turkish official, for his part, referred to effective parliamentary cooperation between Iranian and Turkish parliaments at the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union, while urging the bolster of Iran-Turkey parliamentary
