Two more ISAF troops killed in Helmand

The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) has confirmed the death of two more foreign soldiers in ongoing operations in southern Afghanistan.

The ISAF said on Wednesday that one of the soldiers was killed on Wednesday and the other on Tuesday in a joint offensive with Afghan forces dubbed Mushtarak (Together).

The nationality of the killed troops was not revealed.

The latest fatality brings the number of the US-led troops killed in the operations, which has started on Saturday, to six.

The US-led military operation started “to push the Taliban out of the Marjah district” of southern Helmand province.
