Netanyahu and Peres continue incitement against Hamas

images_News_2014_06_13_ntn-ps_300_0Zionist regime president Shimon Peres and prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued on Thursday to incite against the Hamas Movement as part of an Israeli position that has escalated since the signing of the reconciliation agreement late April.

During his meeting with former mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa, Netanyahu said “Our policy is simple, we will strike at those who would strike at us,” in reference to the assassination of martyr Mohamed Al-Arur last night northern Gaza Strip.

“Yesterday, the Israeli forces carried out a precise operation and took strong action against terrorists in Gaza. I remind everyone that this is the true face of Hamas, even as it is part of the same unity government with Abu Mazen,” he added.

He pointed out that Abu Mazen has promised to honor all of the Palestinian Authority’s commitments towards Israel, including dismantling the armed groups in Gaza.

For his part, Peres stressed that Hamas should renounce terrorism, recognize Israeli state, and respect previous agreements.

“Palestinian people will never achieve unity as long as chaos of weapons still prevails. “You cannot mix fire and water in the same glass,” he said.
