Two Syrian Officers Martyred in Terrorist Attack in Cherchell, Algeria

Two officers from the Syrian Armed Forces were martyred in a terrorist attack which targeted the Military Academy in the Algerian city Cherchell on Saturday, a military source said on Sunday.

The two officers were attending a military training course at the above-mentioned Academy when it came under a terrorist attack which claimed the lives of a number of military members and injured others, the source pointed out.

It added that the two martyrs, Lt. Col. Anwar Suleiman Saad and Lt. Col. Ahmad Shawkat Ahmad, will be escorted to their final resting place amid military ceremonies once their bodies arrive home.
