Ukraine Ruling Party Moves Session Out of Parliament Building

Ukrainian pro-government MPs moved a parliamentary session out of the main hall to a nearby building, defying an opposition protest.
Leaders of opposition factions on Thursday called the move a “coup d’etat,” demanding an investigation, and held a competing parliamentary session in the parliament building, RT reported.
Since the October election, which gave the President Viktor Yanukovich’s party a majority, the Verkhovnaya Rada’s work has constantly been disrupted by party protest actions over procedures they call undemocratic.
