UN to vote Thursday on raising Palestinian status

Palestinians submit statehood resolution to UN General Assembly
Late Monday night a draft resolution was submitted to the UN General Assembly which if approved will upgrade its status to nonmember state, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The vote is set to take place Thursday in the 193-seat body.
