Syrian Army Controls Sharifa Region in Rural Homs

A unit of Syrian Army seized its control on Saturday over Sharifa region in eastern Homs countryside.

Sharifa is located in south western Al-Taifoor airport.

This latest achievement comes after clashes between the national military and militants of the so-called ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL) takfiri group, in which several gunmen of the group were killed.
