Following the establishment of Iraqi military’s total control over the holy city of Samarra, the presence of Iraqi security and military forces on the Baghdad-Samarra road has markedly increased.
The Iraqi armed forces are now preparing themselves to begin purging the entire Salahuddin Province of the Baathist and Takfiri terrorists.
