Sheikh Abdel Karim Obeid criticizes Arab obstructionism in Palestinian issue

A Lebanese scholar has called for Arabs to settle their differences for the purpose of Palestinian issue.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Scholars and Islamic Awakening conference, Abdel Karim Obeid said: “If Muslims had spent all their energy for the Liberation of Palestine, they’d have been successful.”

Sheikh Abdel Karim Obeid added: “the Arabs who mobilize Arabs against Syria, if they’d spend part of their property, to serve the Palestinian issue, Palestine would’ve already won.

Those that do not spent a dinar for armed resistance of the Palestine, how do they spend money for sedition and bloodshed of Muslims?”

He also asserted that “how come the bloodshed of Jew is forbidden for Arabs, but Jews can shed Arab blood? How come peace with Israel is permissible, but it is not permitted with our Arab brothers?”

Sheikh Abdel Karim Obeid reiterated: “now that we have no hope in our leaders and our officials, people need to wake up and realize the true path of defending Palestine; if people pay their dues for resistance, good for them, otherwise they are not Muslim, they are enemy of Muslim.”
