As-Sisi to run for Egyptian presidency

The Egyptian minister of defense, Abdel Fattah As-Sisi, will resign from his position for the upcoming presidential election of Egypt.

According to IRIB World Service citing ISNA, Egyptian political sources informed that Abdel Fattah As-Sisi, the minister of defense will step down in second mid-January and Egypt’s Deputy Premier and Minister of International Cooperation Ziad Bahauddin will resign from their positions for Egypt’s presidential election.
