Syrian Army Launches Heavy Air, Ground Assaults on Terrorists in Homs

The Syrian fighter jets targeted the ISIL positions in al-Sarayem region near Hamimeh as well as the terrorists’ moves near the joint borders between Deir Ezzur and Homs provinces, killing a number of militants and destroying several of their vehicles and military equipment.

Also, the army units launched missile and artillery attacks against the terrorists in Northern Homs after they violated the ceasefire and launched an offensive on the military positions in Maymin and Kafr Laha fronts near Houla region, smashing the militants’ positions and killing several of them.

In a relevant development on Thursday, the Syrian army men ambushed a group of terrorists and preempted their offensive in Northern Homs, killing and wounding a number of them and destroying their equipment.

The army men carried out an ambush operation against a group of terrorists that intended to prevail over the army positions near Maktab al-Emad near the town of al-Rastan, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

In the meantime, the army’s artillery and missile units targeted terrorists’ strongholds in response to the militants’ attack in the Northern Farms of al-Rastan.

The missile units further hit terrorists’ movements hard between the villages of Kafr Laha and al-Tayebeh Qarbi in Northern Homs, killing a number of terrorists.
