Syria is currently in a good position and the enemy is in a weak position

Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi says conspiracies against the Syrian government and nation have been planned by the Western powers to save the Israeli regime.

“Despite all problems and plots that the Zionists hatched against Iran and the resistance front, the resistance is currently in a good position and the enemy is in a weak position, particularly after Islamic Awakening in the region,” said Roknabadi on Saturday.
He emphasized that the main principle in Iran’s foreign policy is based on support for rights of the oppressed people and added that Iran would support the Syrian government and nation to strengthen the achievements of the resistance front.

The Iranian ambassador stressed the importance of supporting the Syrian people to alleviate their sufferings caused by acts of terror.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.
