Azerbaijan, the next target for ISIS

The self-proclaimed Minister of State Security in the so-called Islamic caliphate in Iraq and Syria, Abdulwaheed Khudair Ahmed, nicknamed Abu Ali, said: The Islamic caliphate will reach Azerbaijan in the near future.

The Al-Qaeda official added that the Caucasian Mujahedeen will avenge for the blood of their martyrs who have fallen in Syria.

Abu Ali stated that ISIS will certainly punish as he described ‘’the communist governments’’ in Moscow, Baku and Tbilisi.

Al-Qaeda’s minister of State security also mentioned Baku’s oil fields and emphasized that, Baku oil fields belong to Islamic caliphate and in near future Al-Qaeda will capture them.

It is noteworthy to mention that Russia and Azerbaijan recently conducted a joint military exercise, intended to control the common borders between the two countries.

Earlier Russian Foreign Minister said the ongoing turmoil in Syria was turning the country into a center of attraction for ‘international terrorists including terrorists from Caucasus and Central Asia.’
