Venezuela emphasizes rights of Syrian nation

Venezuela’s Ambassador to Iran Amenhotep Zambrano has emphasized the Bolivarian Alliance of the Americas, ALBA’s support for the rights of the Syrian people in different international scenes.

According to Mehr News Agency, he warned against dangerous consequences of military assault on Syria and said Venezuela was among the first countries that reaffirmed solidarity with the Syrian government since the beginning of crisis in that country, supporting the nation’s rights through diplomatic channels.
The Venezuelan ambassador also talked about the statement issued in support of Syria during the recent ALBA’s ambassadors meeting in Tehran in the presence of Syrian ambassador.
The Venezuelan embassy was the host of a meeting on September 6, in which ambassadors of Venezuela, Bolivia, Syria, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Ecuador condemned any kind of interference (especially military intervention) in the affairs of independent countries including Syria and announced solidarity with the people and government of Syria.
