Video footage of the Syrian Army capturing Souran in northern Hama

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) posted video footage of the Syrian Arab Army’s military operations in northern Hama on Thursday, showing their capture of the key town of Souran after a long battle with the jihadist rebels.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” managed to break-through the jihadist front-lines at Souran’s southern and eastern axes, resulting in the eventual capture of the town.

The Syrian Armed Forces have now turned their attention to the nearby town of Taybat Al-Imam, which is currently under the control of the jihadist rebels.
