Video- Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei Participates in Muharram Mourning Ceremony

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, participated in a mourning ceremony on Saturday evening to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein.

Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader overseeing all Iranian military forces, participated in a mourning ceremony at Imam Khomeini Hussainiya within his office complex in central Tehran on Saturday evening.

Tonight marks the ninth night of Muharram, a significant period commemorating the martyrdom of Hussein ibn Ali, the third Shia Imam, along with his companions during the historic Battle of Karbala. Tomorrow is recognized as Ashura Day, honoring the memory of Imam Hussein and his companions who were martyred in Karbala, in present-day Iraq.

The Zionist regime and Washington have issued threats against the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, prompting widespread condemnation from Muslims globally.

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi and Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani have released fatwas in response to threats against Ayatollah Khamenei, categorizing those who pose such threats as Enemies of God. The fatwas emphasize that it is the Islamic duty of Muslims to act against these individuals.

The video footage reveals mourners, including government officials, extending a warm reception to the Leader.

The Leader orchestrated decisive military operations in response to the 12-day conflict initiated by the Zionist regime on June 13. Throughout the duration of the imposed conflict, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the nation in three televised messages as he directed all Iranian armed forces.

The Israeli offensive struck Iranian nuclear sites and civilian infrastructure, leading to the deaths of several high-ranking military officials and nuclear scientists, along with hundreds of civilians.

Iran’s judiciary reports that the conflict instigated by Israel against the nation has resulted in the loss of over 900 lives.

On June 22, the United States, recognized as Israel’s principal ally, conducted unprecedented strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities located in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.

Israel’s actions prompted a wave of retaliatory drone and missile assaults from Iran, causing extensive damage to numerous Israeli military facilities and compelling the Israeli authorities to request a ceasefire.

On June 24, a ceasefire agreement was established between Iran and Israel.
