Video- Iran to send more satellites into orbit

Iran is to launch two more satellites into orbit within the next year. This was announced in the 11th Conference of the Iranian Aerospace Society in Tehran’s Shaheed Sattari University . The university specializes in Aeronautical Engineering.

Iran has so far sent three satellites into orbit the latest of which, called Navid Elm-o Sanat was launched on February 3rd of this year. The telecom, measurement and scientific Navid Elm-o Sanat satelite provides Iranian experts with information about natural disasters and weather forecasts .

On the other hand, Mohammad Bakhshande, Chancellor at Shaheed Sattari, discussed how Iran’s young talented university students are the reason Iran has advanced in the field of Aerospace technology.

Experts discussed how aerospace is one of the most important, sensitive and intriguing aspects of engineering. Iran now produces its own military planes, missiles, and radar systems. As the officials say Iran will produce commercial airplanes within the next few years.

According to Iran’s defense minister, Iran is ranked top ten in the world in military avionics production.
