VIDEO: ISIS suicide truck blown up inches before reaching Peshmerga checkpoint

Footage recorded from the outskirts of Mosul shows the nerve-wracking moments of an ISIS suicide bomber driving headlong towards a Peshmerga checkpoint east of Mosul.

Kurdish militants launch several anti-tank RPG rounds towards the approaching armoured vehicle; unfortunately for the martyrdom-seeking jihadist, his truck was blown to smithereens just seconds before plowing into the Peshmerga’s trenches.

Since a US-led anti-ISIS coalition launched a campaign to liberate Mosul four days ago, ISIS has conceeded a total of 26 villages to the Iraqi Army and a handful of villages to the Peshmerga.
