Iraqi forces continued to push back the so-called Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) from more positions in Anbar province, taking full control over several residential areas near Ramadi.

Baghdad operations confirms liberating 40 areas in Fallujah and killing of 500 Daesh militants.

Fallujah now is under the control of security forces except few areasin north of city and according to Iraqi officials those areas will be liberated from terrorists completely in coming days.

Most ISIS fighters were reported to have all fled, but the elite troops that had been fighting in the Iraqi city for knew better than to take their enemy lightly.
