Syrian Army Continues to Smash ISIL Terrorists in Homs Province

The Syrian Army stormed the small village of al-Dawah West of Palmyra and entrenched along a small hilltop near the village.
Meanwhile, in the Northern part of al-Dawah, the Syrian soldiers backed by Liwa Suqour al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade) advanced inside the village of Wadi al-Dhakhara after a fierce battle with the ISIL Takfiri terrorists this morning.
Also, another battalion from the 67th Brigade of the army stormed the ISIL centers along Hayyan Mountain in Palmyra’s Southwestern countryside and imposed full control over the battlefield.
Reports said earlier today that intense battles were underway between the Syrian government forces and ISIL terrorists near Palmyra and at least one other contested territory in the Central Homs province.
The Syrian army and its popular allies engaged in a tough battle with the ISIL terrorists in al-Dawah, West of Palmyra and tried hard to push the militants back that turned into the scene of the most intense battles taking place in the province.
The Syrian government forces’ anti-ISIL operation continued with the army marching on the group’s defense lines near the city of Quaryatayn, and large casualties on the ISIL.
The clashes continued as ISIL positions came under more than 30 rounds of intensive airstrikes around Palmyra and Quaryatayn.
