Video- The 5th intl. digital media exhibition opens in Tehran

Almost 900 Iranian companies active in digital media field plus media persons from 30 countries are taking part in the fifth Tehran international digital media fair and festival.
Media Software, Internet Websites and Blogs, Computer Games, Cell Phone Software, Digital Arts, Research, Technology and Innovation, International Division, Technical Workshops and Digital City are among divisions, which are attracting visitors in the fair.
Iran held the first round of the fair in 2007 with 200, 000 visitors and 350 pavilions.
On the sidelines of the 5th international digital media fair a section has been allocated to what is called “soft war”.
In this section posters and photos have been put up to show the impact of the western mainstream media outlets on the minds of the public; also it shows the ways how to counter the cultural invasion by the western media outlets.
Aside from displaying the latest achievements in digital world, the event mainly seeks to elevate the conformity of digital media with the content of Iran’s Islamic and national culture.
