Idlib: Syrian Army Captures 2 Villages in Western Idlib

The Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Tank Division – in cooperation with the National Defense Forces (NDF) – captured two villages in the Al-Zaawiyah Mountains after fierce clashes with the Al-Qaeda linked “Al-Nusra Front” (Jabhat Al-Nusra) on late Wednesday night.

The 11th Division and their allies declared full control over the villages of Baydr Shamsou and Qarsaayah in the mountainous region of the Idlib Governorate to the west.

According to an NDF source, these two villages are located on the western slopes of the Al-Zaawiyah Mountains, 45 km southwest of the provincial capital of the Idlib Governorate.
