Terrorist’s Large-Scale Attack to Capture Deir Al-Khabiyeh Repulsed by Syrian Army

Fatah al-Sham left scores of dead or wounded members and destroyed tanks and vehicles behind and retreated from the battlefield after its attacks on government positions in Deir al-Khabiyeh were fended off by the Syrian army men.
Syrian fighter jets and army’s artillery units also played a major role in hitting Fatah al-Sham terrorists back from Deir al-Khabiyeh region.
Military sources said on Tuesday that the Syrian Army troops took back most of Deir al-Khabiyeh territories, and were getting ready to beat the remaining pockets of Fatah al-Sham Front terrorists from the region in Eastern Ghouta.
“The countdown has started for the final phase of the government forces’ operation to free the remailing part of Deir al-Khabiyeh in Southwestern Damascus from Fatah al-Sham’s occupation,” the sources said.
“Syrian government forces have repelled Fatah al-Sham’s offensives on Monday night, inflicting major losses on them,” the sources added.
“Scores of Fatah al-Sham terrorists were killed or wounded in the army soldiers’ heavy raid on a road connecting Deir al-Khabiyeh to Damascus’s Western countryside,” they went on to say.
