Amir Khan Muttaqi recently attended the fourth edition of the Tehran Dialogue Forum, held in Tehran, as part of discussions focused on the year 2025.
He engaged in discussions with Massoud Pezeshkian, focusing on bilateral relations and the current state of refugees.
The Iranian leader highlighted the importance of fostering partnerships and described Afghanistan as a friendly neighboring nation, expressing Iran’s willingness to enhance relations across all sectors.
The Taliban’s acting foreign minister highlighted the positive trajectory in relations between the two nations, advocating for the enhancement of trade, collaboration in combating drug trafficking, and the phased repatriation of migrants from Iran to Afghanistan.
