War on Yemen Doomed to Failure: Iran’s FM

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has strongly criticized the military interventions by the United States and the United Kingdom in Yemen, asserting that the ongoing conflict in the Arab nation is fated for failure.

In a recent telephonic conversation, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdelatty engaged in an exchange of perspectives concerning ongoing developments within the region.

During a telephone conversation on Saturday, Iran’s top diplomat strongly criticized what he described as aggressive actions by the United States and the United Kingdom in Yemen.

He highlighted the historical resilience of the Yemeni population in resisting foreign invasions, asserting that any military action against Yemen is destined to be unsuccessful.

He expressed strong disapproval of the renewed Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in civilian casualties and hindered the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territory, actions that contravene the established ceasefire agreement.

He urged the international community to take immediate action to halt the aggressive actions of the Israeli government.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of curbing the rising tensions in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen, highlighting the urgent need for de-escalation in these volatile regions.

Abdelatty has urged for intensified diplomatic initiatives and discussions in order to avert further escalation of tensions across the region.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt emphasized the importance of ongoing consultations regarding developments in the region.
