A senior Iranian diplomat has praised the resistance of Palestinians in the face of the Israeli occupation, saying the occupied West Bank will soon emerge as an anti-Zionist hub.

The Israeli-occupied West Bank will soon turn into a center for resistance against the Zionist regime, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in an interview with Lebanon’s Al-Ahed news website on Wednesday.

The occupied Palestinian territories have recently witnessed violent clashes between Israelis and Palestinians after the Tel Aviv regime tightened restrictions on the access of Muslim worshippers to the al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Elsewhere in his comments, Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the influential role of Israeli spy agency, Mossad, in the creation of the Takfiri ISIL cult, adding that certain regional and international intelligence services seek to destroy the Middle East.

Members of the ISIL terrorist group, who pursue an “extremist ideology,” are committing atrocities in the Middle East region in the name of Islam in an attempt to sully the squeaky clean image of the holy religion, added the Iranian official.

ISIL terrorists currently control parts of Syria and Iraq. They have carried out heinous crimes including mass executions and beheadings in the two countries.

The Takfiri extremists have terrorized all communities during their advances in both neighboring Arab countries.
