El-Baradei: “Israel” Totally Crazy to Attack Iran’s Nuclear Sites

Former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohammad el-Baradei stated that “Israel” should be “totally crazy” to launch a military attack against Iran, affirming that such an attack would not deter Tehran from pursuing its rightful nuclear energy program.

In an interview with German news agency DPA on Tuesday, el-Baradei noted his belief that an “Israeli” attack on Iran was “not” imminent, stating, “I think anybody who is going to attack Iran, frankly, will be totally crazy.”
Also, he said that if “Israel” actually attacked Iran, then the latter would receive the support of every Iranian and “pretty much everybody in the Middle East and a lot of people around the world.”

“I pray that this will never happen… I think the “Israelis” … [will] realize that this will diminish their security instead of adding to their security,” former IAEA chief iterated.

“”Israel” is sitting on 200 [nuclear] bombs. There is a sense of insecurity in the Middle East. You need to engage in good faith and establish a Middle East free from weapons of mass destruction,” el-Baradei further added in response to “Israeli” claims that Iran’s nuclear program is not peaceful.
