World Muslims Waiting for Massive Turnout in Quds Day Rallies

Analysts believe that the International Quds Day this year will witness a stronger and wider public turnout due to the recent popular uprisings in the regional countries against the US and Israeli-backed dictators.
Millions of people are expected to take part in the International Quds Day rallies in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.

The International Quds Day is an annual event opposing Israel’s occupation of Beitul-Muqaddas. Anti-Zionist rallies and demonstrations are held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Muslim and Arab countries around the world, specially in Iran.

Analysts say the Quds rallies will be staged with further zeal and enthusiasm across the world this year as the Zionist regime is suffering from ever growing worries about the public movements in the Middle-East and North Africa.

A main message of the day is that Muslims can reach their long-term goals, including the freedom of Palestine and the Holy Quds, by just relying on the brilliant thoughts of Islam.

The Iranian parliamentarians, in a statement earlier this week, called on the entire Iranian nation and all Muslims across the world to stage a massive turnout in the International Quds Day rallies on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Some 207 members of parliament issued a statement on Monday, calling on world Muslims to actively take part in rallies of the Quds Day.

Massive presence of people help thwart the US and Israeli plots in Syria, Egypt and Tunisia along with treason of some Arab leaders, read the statement.

International Quds day is the day for cry against an oppressed nation who has sacrificed its youth to reveal the criminal face of US and its accomplices claiming to advocate democracy and human rights, said the statement.

The great Iranian nation welcomed the call of the Supreme Leader and supported Palestinian nation in their campaign against Israeli occupation.

Resistance of Lebanese Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad of Palestine to Israeli occupation and support made by the Islamic Republic of Iran prepared the ground for Islamic awareness and turnout of Muslims and all freedom-seekers round the globe to decry human rights violations perpetrated by the US and Israeli occupiers.

Iranian nation along with other Muslims and freedom-seekers round the globe are to support the Palestinian nation and the entire world Muslims, it said.
