Leader of Islamic Ummah Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei commends southern Lebanese people for their defiance in the face of the Israeli military
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has commended the citizens of southern Lebanon for their courageous stance against the Israeli military, despite the ongoing hostilities from the Israeli regime.
In a social media statement made Sunday evening, the Leader praised the residents of southern Lebanon for their bravery and resolve in confronting the Israeli military. According to Al Manar, the news outlet of Lebanese Hezbollah, the Leader commended the people’s willingness to sacrifice and their unwavering faith in a divine promise amid recent events in the region.
Israeli forces have reportedly fired upon individuals in southern Lebanese towns as they were returning to their homes, resulting in the deaths of at least 22 people and injuring 124 others, according to the latest data provided by Lebanon’s Public Health Ministry.
Recent reports from Lebanon indicate that numerous Lebanese educational institutions, including schools and universities, have cancelled classes scheduled for Monday. This suspension of academic activities has been implemented to enable students and staff to partake in celebrations marking what has been termed as “scenes of divine victory.”
