Bahrain brutality due to Saudi support: Analyst

Press TV has conducted an interview with Irfan al-Alawi, the executive director of the Islamic Heritage Research Foundation in Manchester, to discuss Bahrain’s recent move to revoke the citizenship of 72 people accused of attending anti-regime protests and acting against the government.

Alawi believes the revocation of citizenship and other atrocities being carried out by the Al Khalifa regime against the people are happening because of the Saudi Wahhabi military support for the rulers of Bahrain.

He says the United States and Britain are also supporting the Bahraini government, adding that perhaps it is time for the Americans and the British to react and stop the atrocities that are happening against the people of Bahrain every day.
