Yemen vows a definite response to ‘israel’s’ ‘vicious’ assault on Hudaydah
Yemen has announced that its military will assuredly retaliate against Israel's attacks on the port city of Hudaydah along the Red Sea.

“The reaction to the occupying Israeli regime’s aggression and its strategies can only be determined by the Ansarullah resistance movement leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and the Yemeni army,” stated Jamal Ahmed Ali Amer, the foreign minister of the National Salvation Government, on Monday.
“Yemen vows to retaliate against the brutal and savage Israeli attack on Hudaydah by any means necessary.”
Yemen’s al-Masirah television channel reported that Israeli forces attacked oil storage facilities and a power plant in Hudaydah on July 20.
At least nine individuals lost their lives, and 87 others sustained injuries due to Israeli airstrikes. The assault followed a drone attack by the Yemeni military targeting the coastal city of Tel Aviv in territories occupied by Israel since 1948.
Yemen’s Supreme Political Council has vowed to retaliate against the assault on Hudaydah.
“This act of aggression will be met with a decisive and effective response against our adversaries,” the statement declared.
During his Monday address, the senior Yemeni diplomat asserted that the US military needed to pull its naval fleets out of the Red Sea due to Yemeni maritime activities. He added that the Pentagon is exploring other strategies to maintain its influence in the area.
“From the very onset of their conflict with Yemeni forces, Americans’ fear and anxiety were profoundly apparent.”
Yemenis have openly expressed their solidarity with Palestine’s fight against Israeli occupation following Israel’s initiation of a destructive war on Gaza on October 7. This escalation came in response to a sudden counterattack by Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip, known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, targeting the occupying forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will continue their assaults until the persistent Israeli ground and air operations in Gaza cease.
On October 7, 2023, Israel initiated a brutal offensive in Gaza, which many have described as genocidal. This action followed a surprise operation named Al-Aqsa Storm, carried out by Palestinian resistance groups in the occupied territories.
The coastal territory has been under a near-complete blockade imposed by the regime, drastically limiting the supply of food, medicine, electricity, and water to the Palestinian region.
To date, Israel has caused the deaths of over 40,000 individuals in Gaza, with the majority being women, children, and teenagers.
The leader of Ansarullah, Houthi, stated that facing off against America directly is both a significant honor and a blessing.
The assaults have compelled several of the globe’s largest shipping and oil firms to halt their passage through a crucial maritime trade artery. As a result, tankers are extending their voyages by thousands of miles, opting to navigate around the African continent instead of transiting the Suez Canal.
