Yemeni forces bomb several Saudi army bases in Jizan

Yemeni Ansarullah fighters supported by army units have launched a series of rocket attacks against Saudi military bases in the kingdom’s southwestern region of Jizan.

According to local Yemeni media reports, Ansarullah fighters and allied army units fired a barrage of rockets at the Tuwal and al-Khowjarah military bases in the Saudi border region on Friday.

Furthermore, the Yemeni forces also targeted several Saudi army posts on al-Doud Mountains along the border in retaliation for Riyadh’s ongoing military campaign against Yemen.

Earlier in the day, Ansarullah fighters infiltrated into the town of Rabi’iyah in the Asir region and attacked several Saudi military bases there.

The Yemeni fighters managed to take control of the bases after heavy clashes with Saudi troops.

Several vehicles belonging to the Saudi military were reportedly destroyed in the attack.
