Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro led a rally in at the Paseo Los Proceres monument in Caracas on Thursday in celebration of ‘Anti-imperialist Day’ in Venezuela.

Venezuela has always been a target of what the president terms as “imperialism”.

In 2015, the Obama administration imposed sanctions on Venezuela, asserting that the South American nation was a direct threat to U.S. national security, despite no evidence offered to support this claim, Mint Press News explained.

Despite Venezuela’s resilience against U.S.-led sabotage for nearly two decades, they may not be able to hold out for much longer, the same report questioned.
