The Yemeni army and Ansarullah fighters launched rockets at three military bases in Saudi Arabia’s Southwestern border city of Najran, and killed a soldier in retaliation for the Saudis’ ongoing air raids on their impoverished country.

The soldier was killed late on Friday night, reports said.

Also on Friday, the Yemeni forces blew up a military tower and fired rockets at a military base in the Southwestern Saudi province of Jizan.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 115 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

The Monarchy’s attacks have so far claimed the lives of at least 5,122 civilians, mostly women and children.
