The Syrian crisis is nearing its end

“Everyone is witnessing the campaign waged against Syria’s to thwart the power that stands with the resistance movements everywhere”
Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports, Faisal Karami, stressed that “the Syrian crisis is nearing its end, with the exception of some security pockets.”

Karami said “President Bashar Assad was comfortable that Syria significantly overcame the crisis, and this confidence made us comfortable about the development of Syria’s internal stability.”

In an interview with “Al-Akhbar” newspaper, Karami sait that “President Assad is aware that the purpose of targeting Syria is to subdivide it, in preparation for the fragmentation of the region into small rival, having an essential aim of relieving Zionist Israel,” citing the Assad satisfaction to the outgrowth of the situation in Lebanon.

In his turn, President of the Party of “National Reconciliation” Bilal Taqi al-Din, after a meeting with Former Prime Minister Salim Hoss, stressed that the deterioration of the situation in Syria have a negative impact on Lebanon, saying: “He who believes that if the regime fell in Syria, the situation in Lebanon will be untouched is mistaken.We tell them that the security of Syria is of the security of Lebanon”.

Following a meeting with delegation from the leadership of the Bekaa region in Hezbollah, led by district chief, former deputy Abu Salim Mohammad Yaghi, Sheikh Qattan stated that “They know that Syria can by one decision, win the world opinion to its side, by saying that it is against the resistance movements but Syria is paying the price of its stand by Lebanon in the July 2006 war alongside the resistance movements”.

He added that the waged war is against the resistance movements in every place, not only on the Islamic resistance of Hezbollah in Lebanon, but the resistance movements in Palestine and Afghanistan and in Iraq and everywhere”.

He also called on citizens in Syria to “realize the extent of the conspiracy hatched against their country and be aware of the seriousness of it, and to stand in the face of the implementation of these conspiracies against their country”.

In his turn, Yaghi called “All good people in this country, whether Muslim or non-Muslims, to work all for the unity of this country and its invincibility”.
