Yemeni Prime Minister: Hezbollah Has Forced ‘israeli’ Forces Into Concession
The Yemeni Prime Minister has commended Hezbollah for its resilience and determination in confronting Israel, praising the Lebanese resistance group for allegedly compelling the "Zionist enemy" to submit and undermining its position.

Ahmed al-Rahawi, speaking on Saturday evening, asserted that Hezbollah has consistently grown in strength each time it has lost a commander or leader in action. He emphasized that the organization has evolved into a formidable regional force, extending its support to oppressed communities, with a particular focus on aiding the Palestinian people.
He highlighted the forthcoming funeral procession in Beirut for the late Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the former head of the Lebanese group’s Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine. He emphasized that the event would demonstrate the movement’s considerable influence and widespread support.
Hassan Nasrallah and Naim Qassem, prominent figures within the Islamic and global Muslim communities, are hailed as emblematic of freedom, independence, and the steadfast defense of truth against falsehood.
According to Rahawi, Nasrallah was the initial figure to extend support to Yemen amid the Saudi-American offensive against the nation.
He emphasized the elevated status that the late Hezbollah leader holds among the Yemeni population, a sentiment visibly echoed in the weekly demonstrations occurring throughout Yemen.
The Yemeni Prime Minister delivered a message to the Lebanese populace and Hezbollah supporters, assuring them that the sacrifices made by the fallen resistance leaders will empower them to confront the formidable challenges ahead.
Rahwi remarked that Nasrallah is an influential international figure whose example serves as a source of inspiration for strength and perseverance. His enduring legacy continues to be a wellspring of empowerment.
Beirut is preparing to host a significant funeral for the assassinated Hezbollah leaders, with representatives from 78 nations anticipated to attend the ceremony.
The committee responsible for organizing the procession disclosed on Friday that the official funeral program is set to comprise seven segments and will commence at 1:00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
The committee has announced its readiness to accommodate a substantial gathering and conduct an impressive funeral ceremony in honor of Nasrallah and Safieddine.
In a significant development, Hassan Nasrallah was reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike on September 27, 2024, in southern Beirut. The Israeli military deployed 85 tons of explosives in an operation that resulted in the destruction of six residential buildings in the Dahiyeh district. This strike was part of a broader week-long bombardment that targeted numerous locations from southern Lebanon to the capital, Beirut.
Safieddine was reportedly killed in an Israeli operation on October 3, 2024.
Hezbollah has announced the postponement of funeral ceremonies for two of its leaders, citing concerns over potential Israeli attacks during the events.
