Yemenis organized large-scale demonstrations to show their solidarity with Palestine and the Axis of Resistance
In Yemen's northwestern province of Sa'ada, tens of thousands gathered in large-scale rallies to express their steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, as well as to show solidarity with the Axis of Resistance.

Yemenis staged protests in numerous districts and regions across the province on Friday, as reported by Yemen’s al-Masirah television channel. The demonstrations, which took place in Majz, Ghamr, al-Dhaher, Baqim, Kitaf wa al-Boqe’e, al-Hashwah, Monabbih, and Qatabir, were held in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Protesters strongly condemned the U.S. president’s proposal to assume control over Gaza and relocate Palestinians to neighboring countries such as Jordan and Egypt.
Protesters brandished flags representing Palestine and Yemen as they vocally condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed plan for the displacement in Gaza. The demonstrators also expressed their solidarity with the Yemeni Ansarullah movement and other groups aligned with the Axis of Resistance, chanting slogans in support.
In their chants, protesters expressed a resolute stance, asserting their fearlessness towards the United States and Israel, vowing to prevent any malevolent schemes from advancing.
Houthi Group Warns Trump: Gaza Displacement Strategy Doomed to Unravel
In a large-scale demonstration held in the provincial capital of Sa’ada, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a prominent figure within Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, directly addressed the U.S. President. Al-Houthi asserted that American military might and the backing provided to Israel would not compel Palestinians to abandon their homeland.
He emphasized Yemen’s steadfast support for Palestine and warned that the United States will soon encounter the full measure of Yemeni military capability, which has not yet been fully demonstrated.
Houthi representatives have declared that missile deployments and military forces sent to Palestinian territories will be unsuccessful in removing the residents of Gaza. They assert that such actions and statements will not succeed in compelling the Yemeni people to alter their stance.
A spokesperson emphasized that the Yemeni populace, along with their military forces, remain vigilant and are meticulously observing the ongoing situation.
A senior Yemeni official has highlighted the recent incident involving the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, which collided with a large merchant vessel in the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday night. The official suggested that this incident reflects the growing anxiety and distress within the US Navy, attributed to ongoing conflicts with Yemeni armed forces.
A spokesperson announced that all options are being considered, with Yemeni armed forces poised for any potential developments. This comes in light of recent statements by Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, who indicated Yemen’s readiness to intervene, including militarily, should the United States and Israel seek to enforce the Gaza displacement plan through force or collaborate with Arab regimes to implement it.
The Houthi movement has reaffirmed the Yemeni population’s solidarity with the Palestinian nation over the past 15 months. They highlighted that the large-scale marches, drawing millions of participants, serve as a testament to their unwavering support.
