Leader: US, Europe influence changing

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, says the world is witnessing fundamental changes to the status and influence of the US and certain European states.

Imam Ali Khamenei pointed to the ongoing developments in the Middle East and particularly in Palestine and said, “All these points are an indication of a development in the region while big changes are occurring in the world regarding the status and influence of the US and certain European countries.”

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani, and lawmakers on Tuesday.

He stressed the importance of maintaining cordial cooperation between the Majlis and the government, saying, “This cooperation should be realized. It is not acceptable that either of the two sides say it has fulfilled all responsibilities and the other side should come forward.”

“There should be no motive in the government to disobey the Majlis. Majlis, too, should have no motive to keep the government waiting,” Imam Ali Khamenei said.

“While the government should abide by law, Majlis should also help the government in doing so.”
