Zionist airstrikes result in the deaths of eight individuals, including a child, in southern Lebanon
Zionist airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least eight individuals, including a child, in southern Lebanon.

On Friday, Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported the deaths, stating that the victims had perished in Israeli drone strikes that hit multiple sites in the southern region.
According to reports, an “Israeli enemy drone strike” resulted in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was a seven-year-old child, in Aita al-Jabal. Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that the drone had fired “two guided missiles” at a residence in the village.
Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of six individuals in various southern locations. Among the casualties were five fighters from the Hezbollah resistance movement.
Hezbollah has named one of the deceased as Mohammad Mahmoud Najm “Karrar,” whom the Israeli armed forces described as a “key” figure in the group’s Rocket and Missile Unit in southern Lebanon.
Since October 7, the regime has been almost daily targeting southern Lebanon, following its initiation of a genocidal conflict in the Gaza Strip.
The reported attacks have resulted in the deaths of approximately 600 individuals in Lebanon.
Hezbollah has been launching strikes to both retaliate against the regime and aid the war-affected people in Gaza.
The regime, responsible for conflicts with Lebanon in 2000 and 2006, has often threatened to escalate its attacks into a full-scale military assault on the nation.
Hezbollah has committed to protecting Lebanese territory using all its available resources.
It has also vowed to seek retribution for the death of Fuad Shukr, a key senior commander, and Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Palestinian resistance faction Hamas.
Late last month, resistance leaders were assassinated in separate operations carried out by Tel Aviv in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, and Tehran, the capital of Iran.
On August 16, a new underground missile complex was unveiled, showcasing an intricate tunnel system, missile launch pads, and outward-opening blast doors, suggesting it is prepared for retaliatory action.
