Zionist attacks on central Syria have resulted in injuries to seven civilians
At least seven civilians were injured when Israeli military planes launched an attack on various military sites and structures in the central area of the Arab nation.

Syria’s state news service, SANA, referencing a military source, conveyed that Israeli fighter jets carried out an attack at around 7:35 p.m. local time (1635 GMT) on Friday. The assault originated from northern Lebanon and aimed at multiple locations in Syria’s central area.
According to the source, Syrian air defense units successfully intercepted and destroyed some of the incoming missiles. The attack led to injuries for seven civilians and inflicted material damage on the targeted area.
The Israeli air raid on the struggling Arab nation occurs amid the government’s violent campaign against Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Since the Palestinian resistance movements initiated their unexpected assault, known as Operation al-Aqsa Storm, against the Israeli regime on October 7 last year, Israel has responded with continuous air and ground offensives targeting the coastal area, which have included hospitals, homes, and places of worship.
A minimum of 40,265 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have lost their lives, and an additional 93,144 individuals have been injured.
Israel often strikes military sites within Syria, particularly those associated with Hezbollah, an ally that has significantly supported the Syrian army in combating foreign-backed militants.
The Tel Aviv administration seldom addresses its strikes on Syrian land, actions that numerous observers interpret as a reflexive response to the Syrian government’s remarkable achievements in combating and eradicating terrorism.
Since foreign-backed militancy began in Syria in 2011, Israel has been the main supporter of terrorist groups that stand against the democratically-elected government of President Bashar al-Assad.
