Zionist enemy launched operation at Kamal Adwan Hospital following airstrikes that resulted in 53 casualties

In a significant escalation of tensions, Israeli forces conducted a raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza on Friday morning. This operation followed a series of airstrikes on a nearby facility, which resulted in the tragic loss of 53 lives, including several medical personnel.

Earlier, the military compelled numerous patients, both sick and injured, to evacuate Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Reports indicate that approximately 75 patients have gathered in the facility’s courtyard, as the establishment has been subjected to relentless attacks for several weeks.

In the early hours of Friday, Israeli military operations escalated around Kamal Adwan Hospital, with tank units and quadcopter-mounted machine guns advancing further into the territory.

According to the report, explosive devices that had been planted near the hospital were detonated at both the northern gate and the back entrance, resulting in substantial damage and sparking fires in several nearby buildings.

At around 7:15 a.m. local time (05:15 GMT), Israeli authorities utilized loudspeaker systems to order the hospital director, along with injured individuals and patients, to vacate the facility within a 15-minute timeframe.

The death toll resulting from Thursday’s attacks on the premises and an adjacent building has risen to 53, according to Hussam Abu Safiyyah, the hospital’s director, who confirmed that five of the victims were staff members.

In the early hours of Friday, Israeli airstrikes struck Gaza City and Rafah, resulting in the deaths of at least nine Palestinians, among them women and children.

According to local reports, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residence owned by the Abu Beid family in the Shujaiya neighborhood, located to the east of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.

In another incident in the Sedra locality of Gaza City, a young girl tragically lost her life following an airstrike on her family’s residence. Meanwhile, in Rafah, a woman succumbed to injuries inflicted by an aerial attack targeting her home in the Nassr neighborhood, situated to the east of the city.

In a recent military escalation, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residence owned by the Harara family in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, close to the al-Istijaba Mosque, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians and leaving multiple others wounded.

On Thursday, Israeli airstrikes targeted al-Awda Hospital in Gaza, resulting in injuries to the medical director and six staff members, as reported by Gaza’s director of field hospitals.

Earlier today, an Israeli strike hit a clearly identified press vehicle situated near a hospital, resulting in the deaths of five Palestinian journalists.

A spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry has vehemently denounced the recent assault on a journalists’ vehicle, labeling it a “war crime.”
