Zionist forces martyred two Palestinians in a raid near the city of Jenin in the West Bank
At least two Palestinians have lost their lives as Israeli forces conducted a raid in a town near Jenin, a known hotspot in the occupied West Bank. This operation forms part of Israel's ongoing extensive military campaign in the region.

According to a report released on Thursday by the Resistance News Network, the two Palestinians have been named as Mohammed Nazzal, affiliated with the Saraya al-Quds Brigades, the military branch of Islamic Jihad, and Qutaiba al-Shalabi, who serves as a commander within the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed division of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
According to the report, two resistance fighters were killed following prolonged and intense clashes with Israeli forces who had surrounded them in a house.
A recent report indicates that the duo orchestrated and executed the joint “heroic al-Funduq operation,” resulting in the deaths of three Israelis and injuries to eight individuals in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces reportedly took possession of the bodies of two Palestinian fighters after they were fatally injured, according to additional reports.
The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that two combatants hailing from the town of Qabatiya were encircled and subsequently killed by Israeli forces at a residence in Burqin, near Jenin, on Wednesday evening.
The WAFA news agency reported that two individuals, identified as 30-year-old Shalabi and 25-year-old Nazzal, were killed following an Israeli drone strike targeting the besieged residence.
The occupation forces have demolished the besieged residence, bringing it to the ground level after deploying a heavy bulldozer for its complete destruction, according to an official statement.
One day prior, Hamas, based in Gaza, denounced the Palestinian Authority under the leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas, accusing it of “bloodshed” in the Israeli-occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
The West Bank-based Palestinian Authority has reportedly surrounded Razi Hospital and detained injured Palestinian combatants, an action critics argue violates fundamental ethical and national boundaries.
In the latest development in Jenin, government forces have executed several raids and extensive incursions throughout the past year. This action occurs just days following the commencement of a much-anticipated ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
In recent years, the Israeli military has carried out a series of operations in the West Bank, with activities intensifying following the commencement of what has been described as a campaign of genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023. In parallel, there have been reports of Palestinians facing severe assaults at the hands of Israeli settlers.
According to a statement from the health ministry, the Israeli army’s operations in the occupied territory have resulted in the deaths of at least 859 Palestinians, with more than 6,700 individuals reported injured.
