Zionist military admits killing of two additional soldiers in clashes with resistance fighters in Gaza
The Israeli military reported the deaths of two more soldiers in the Gaza Strip as Palestinian resistance fighters continue their retaliatory actions amidst the prolonged Israeli conflict, which some describe as genocidal.

On Sunday, the military announced the deaths, specifying that one of the deceased was a “staff sergeant” and the other a “master sergeant.”
The two individuals died in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza and Gaza City due to explosive device detonations, it stated.
The death toll has risen to 702 Israeli soldiers since the regime initiated its offensive on Palestinian territory in October 2023.
The military reports indicate that the total number of Israeli forces killed has reached 340 since the war began. The conflict was initiated in response to al-Aqsa Storm, a counteroffensive carried out by Gaza’s resistance groups.
The regime’s records indicate that an additional 362 soldiers died during that timeframe, partly due to retaliatory actions by the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah in response to escalating Israeli assaults on southern Lebanon.
On Sunday, funerals took place in the occupied Palestinian territories for six fighters who lost their lives during operations conducted by Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups, according to Israeli media reports.
Observers, nonetheless, argue that the regime downplays the fatality numbers to maintain its forces’ morale and prevent backlash from individuals calling for a ceasefire, which could facilitate the return of captives taken during al-Aqsa Storm.
“A devastating impact”
In the meantime, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Gaza-based Hamas resistance movement, reported a significant strike against Israeli forces during an ambush in the town of al-Qarara, near Khan Yunis, on Monday.
The brigade’s fighters struck a house occupied by enemy forces using anti-fortification thermobaric grenades (TBG) and anti-personnel rockets. Additionally, they detonated explosives placed at the entrance of a tunnel as other troops were drawing near.
Over 40,400 Palestinians have lost their lives amid the intense Israeli military offensive in Gaza.
The aggression by the regime against Lebanon has resulted in the deaths of over 500 individuals.
Determined to persist with its relentless aggression, Tel Aviv has declined to agree to a ceasefire that could halt the assault on Gaza, while also warning of potential escalated attacks on Lebanon.
