Zionist regime admitted to a ‘complete failure’ on October 7, according to an internal investigation report

An internal investigation conducted by the Israeli military regarding the events of October 7 has acknowledged a “complete failure” in preventing the attack, according to sources familiar with the probe.

An official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, informed reporters that the findings of a recent report highlighted October 7 as a notable shortcoming, emphasizing that the military did not succeed in its mission to safeguard Israeli civilians.

A significant number of civilian casualties were reported on that day, prompting widespread questioning and concern regarding the whereabouts and actions of the Israeli military.

According to a report disclosed to journalists, the military acknowledged that it was unable to safeguard Israeli citizens effectively. The Gaza Division was swiftly overtaken in the initial hours of the conflict, allowing militants to seize control and perpetrate attacks in local communities and along nearby roads.

The Chief of Israel’s Defense Forces has assumed full responsibility for the failure to prevent the attack that took place on October 7.

In a video statement issued by the military, Herzi Halevi, who stepped down last month, has accepted full accountability for the events of October 7th. “The responsibility rests with me. I was the army commander on that day, and I bear full responsibility for all of you,” he stated.

In response to the report, Hazem Qassem, a spokesperson for Hamas, remarked that findings from Israeli investigations highlight what he described as the dominance of Palestinian resolve over Israel’s comprehensive military apparatus.

Qassem stated that the report further establishes the capability of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Movement, to outmaneuver and overcome the Israeli security services.

He emphasized that the persistent arrogance of colonial powers hinders their ability to recognize the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people in their pursuit of freedom and independence.
