Zionist regime conducted airstrikes targeting a crossing point along the Syria-Lebanon border
Israeli warplanes have conducted a military operation against Syria, focusing on a key border crossing between Syria and Lebanon, in what has been described as an act of aggression.

According to a report from Syria’s state news agency SANA, an airstrike conducted overnight has struck the Jusiyah crossing located in the al-Qusayr region of Homs province.
According to a report quoting Dabbah al-Mashaal, the director of the crossing, the Israeli offensive has inflicted substantial damage on the facility.
Sham FM radio station has reported that a minimum of four airstrikes targeted the vicinity surrounding the Jusiyah crossing.
The assault occurred as thousands of Lebanese civilians fled into Syria, escaping Israel’s extensive bombardment of Lebanon.
The Jusiyah crossing holds considerable strategic importance due to its location along the border between Syria and Lebanon. It is a well-recognized transit point for fighters belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance.
On October 25, Israeli airstrikes rendered the border crossing inoperable, disrupting its operations.
The United Nations refugee agency has reported an estimated 560,000 individuals have fled to Syria from Lebanon since September 23. This mass migration follows an escalation in hostilities between the Israeli military and Hezbollah, marked by intensified Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese territory.
In a series of escalating regional tensions, Israeli airstrikes have targeted locations in Syria, coinciding with the ongoing military actions in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. These developments occur as Israel intensifies its operations against Palestinian territories in Gaza and amid mounting unrest involving Lebanon.
In response to a large-scale military operation by Palestinian resistance groups, known as “Al-Aqsa Flood,” initiated on October 7, 2023, Israel has intensified its military campaign with continuous air and ground assaults on Gaza, targeting a range of sites including hospitals, residential areas, and places of worship.
According to recent reports, a minimum of 44,176 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have lost their lives, with an additional 104,473 people suffering injuries.
Hezbollah initiated a support front for Palestinians in Gaza just a day after Israel launched its military campaign against the blockaded region in October.

Israel has consistently launched strikes on military positions within Syria, focusing particularly on sites associated with the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah. Hezbollah has been instrumental in supporting the Syrian military in its battle against insurgents supported by external forces.
The Israeli government seldom issues statements regarding its assaults on Syrian land, actions that are widely perceived as a reflexive response to the Syrian government’s significant achievements in combating and dismantling terrorist forces.
Since the outbreak of foreign-backed unrest in Syria in 2011, Israel has been identified as a key supporter of groups opposing the government of President Bashar al-Assad.
