Syrian Forces Hit Nusra Terrorists Heavily across Aleppo’s Neighborhoods

The Syrian Army troops raided the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front’s strongholds in at least five neighborhoods of Aleppo city on Friday, and inflicted heavy loss and damage on the terrorist group.

“Al-Nusra positions in al-Lairamoun, Bani Zaid, al-Sakhour, al-Sheikh Khodr and al-Rashideen came under massive attacks of the Syrian soldiers,” the sources said.

“The Nusra militants sustained a heavy death toll and their weapons and military vehicles were destroyed seriously in the attack,” the sources added.

On Thursday, the “Syrian Democratic Forces” announced that it gained control of a key village in the Northern Province of Aleppo.

The “Syrian Democratic Forces” said its fighters captured the village of al-Saharij in Aleppo province.

The group did not provide any further details on its operation.

The Syrian Democratic Forces is an alliance of Kurdish, Arab, Assyrians, Armenian and Turkmen militants seeks to expel ISIL from Syria.
